Stronger and Better
This years mission was the most challenging ever.
Before the first patient was ever seen, CMM faced so many
obstacles just to be able serve those in need. From the
bureaucracy of the Philippine Department of Health to the
negative views of medical missions from certain local doctors,
CMM faced and met all challenges.
In the end, we proved our strength and overcame all the
difficulties in planning and executing a mission. We again
successfully provided free Medical, Ophthalmic, Surgical,
and Dental care to our underprivileged kababayan in the
Philippines. CMM is still standing and ready to continue
our service.
CMM 2004 Surgical Missions
The
joint Carolina Medical Mission 2004 was a great success.
Aside from Ilocos Norte, Western Pangasinan and Puerto Princesa,
Palawan, the CMM surgical team provided services to the
intercoastal areas of Hagonoy, Bulacan; the province of
Marinduque; Lagawe, Ifugao Province and San Antonio, Nueva
Ecija.
