One's
generosity is not limited to monetary contributions. For instance,
the local Raleigh hospitals have aided the mission through
donating of surgical equipment and supplies. These supplies
have been the backbone of the general surgery portion of CMM.
During the mission we are in great need of more medicines
such as vitamins and antibiotics. The more medicines we have
the more patients we are able to serve. Also, used surgical
instruments and equipments are valuable to the mission. Donations
of surgical sutures, gowns, lap sponges, and other supplies
are needed.
However, monetary contributions are the most useful. The
money raised through our fundraising efforts buys medicines,
vitamins, and additional medical supplies. Your donations
allow patients to receive all CMM services free. The cost
of providing patient care is more affordable than you might
expect. It only costs five dollars to treat a patient. Thus,
your monetary gift goes a long way.
